I was born at a very young age, and it took some time for me to acclimatise to my surroundings. After much trial and error, I began to understand the basics of the general workings of the world around me. Things got marginally easier for me once I had a handle on the language thing, and found that it was highly useful, as it allowed me to communicate, at first simple, and then more complex, ideas about my emotional state, and the many ideas and thoughts running through my head. (Whether or not these thoughts were there before I had the use of language is unknown to me due to a lack of memory of that time, which I'm sure is actually linked to the procurement of language, but that's another issue.) Incedentally, my first fully formed sentence was "I wannan apple," which kind of set the theme for the rest of my life. I like apples. Mmmmmm...

I am, first and foremost, a guitarist. I've been playing for twenty odd years, so it's a lifetime kinda thing. Beyond that, I watch a load of telly and drink too much. I eat food for sustenance, have a bipedal system of walking and a beard. I also have a keen interest in science, and can often be found in a pokey cafe somewhere in Colchester poring over New Scientist or Scientific American (how few there seem to be these days) or some other such publication. My main aim through my (however lacklustre) studies of contemporary scientific theory is to live forever. I think that would be awesome, and also, I believe, eminently possible. I also like to know things that can help me shoot down anyone who tries to convince people that the Earth is only 10,000 years old and other such ridiculous "scientific theories" that seem to be doing the rounds at the moment. Hmmm.

Apart from all that, i spend my time watching films, drinking more coffee than I really should (although not as much as some people I know - you know who you are) and not quite as much alchohol as I would like. I listen to a LOT of music, but that's pretty much a given, as if I didn't, how would I find new things to do with a guitar? I also like to mock chavs (setting fire to them i imagine I would like too, but the legal ramifications are a bit too much for me, to be honest.)
Err.... yeah.
